The Georgia State Building and Construction Trades Council is an organization that represents the interests of workers in the building and construction industry in the state of Georgia. Comprised of various trade unions, the council works to promote the rights and welfare of its members, advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and access to quality healthcare and retirement benefits. Through collaboration and collective bargaining, the Georgia State Building and Construction Trades Council strives to ensure that workers in the industry are treated fairly and have a voice in shaping policies and regulations that affect their livelihoods.

The 14 different skilled trade options are electricians, plumbers/pipefitters, ironworkers, sheetmetal workers, laborers, operating engineers, boilermakers, insulators, carpenters, masonry, elevator constructors, plasterers, painters, and roofers. Each of these trades requires specific skills and knowledge, allowing individuals to develop a unique set of abilities.
